The adoption of digital technologies that improve productivity, sustainability and resource management is essential for the transition to a green economy. However, the digitisation process also brings with it complicated technological, economic, social and environmental issues that need to be prioritised methodically. To statistically evaluate and rank 25 indicators categorised according to five basic criteria – technological, economic, environmental, socio-institutional, and implementation risk indicators – this study employs the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results show that technological indicators have the highest relative weight, highlighting the role that automation, artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure play in promoting green transitions. The environmental impacts underscore the necessity of energy-saving and emissions-free technologies, while the economic aspects are less important, since they are at the stage of showing the influence of investment costs and returns on digital growth. The outcomes authenticate the statistical reliability of the AHP matrix and offer a quantitative tool for decision-makers to outline the key areas in the digital-green transformation that require their attention. Overall, the study provides a structured approach to decision support for balancing technological innovation and sustainability goals.

This paper presents a high-level approach to developing an information system for electric car charging stations, utilizing a Process Layer Supply pattern. This pattern organizes activity processes, business rules, visions, and goals that support system modelling. The paper models the system's structural and behavioral aspects using UML diagrams—specifically, class, use case, and activity diagrams — via the Papyrus UML2 tool. These diagrams facilitate visualizing functional requirements, user-to-system interactions, and system components for efficient planning, development, and implementation. The model addresses the most critical gaps in an electric car charging infrastructure and optimizes the information system's operations for practical implementation. The proposed system is designed to support future developments, like integration with dynamic demand markets for flexible pricing and optimized operations. Additionally, we use pseudocode to link abstract UML models to actual implementations, ensuring the accurate transfer of system logic to the corresponding code. Since every component of the charging network is logically interconnected, a sustainable foundation for future electric car mobility is established.

„The Internet of Things” is a relatively new idea that refers to objects that can connect to the Internet and exchange data. The Internet of Things (IoT) enables novel interactions between objects and people by interconnecting billions of devices. While there are many IoT-related products, challenges pertaining to their effective implementation, particularly the lack of knowledge and confidence about security, must be addressed. To provide IoT-based enterprises with a platform for efficiency and sustainability, this study aims to identify the critical elements that influence the growth of a successful company integrated with an IoT system. This study proposes a decision support tool that evaluates the influential features of IoT using the Pythagorean Fuzzy and Interval Grey approaches within the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). This study demonstrates that security, value, and connectivity are more critical than telepresence and intelligence indicators. When both strategies are used, market demand and information privacy become significant indicators. Applying the Pythagorean Fuzzy approach enables the identification of sensor networks, authorization, market demand, and data management in terms of importance. The application of the Interval Grey approach underscores the importance of data management, particularly in sensor networks. The indicators that were finally ranked are compared to obtain a good coefficient of agreement. These findings offer practical insights for promoting sustainability in enterprise operations by optimizing IoT infrastructure and decision-making processes.

Work environment and ambient present an object susceptible to great and constant changes. These changes lead to a move away from analog processes and towards digitization. Many systems had to realize these changes, including laboratory systems. Laboratory systems present complex systems that can function independently or within other complex systems (for example, manufacturing systems, factory systems, research systems, etc.). It is obvious that laboratory systems must optimize and modernize all of their activities and functions. Many laboratory processes and procedures must be changed into automated processes and integrated into appropriate systems for information management. New laboratory systems are networked and connected in real time, with huge technical and professional possibilities. A very important scientific sphere that needs strong laboratory support and cooperation is fire safety. It is well known that almost every product intended for fire protection demands detailed laboratory testing related to valid standards or simulation of some potential fire or evacuation scenario and similar. In this paper, term Laboratory 4.0 will be presented as a consequence of Industry 4.0 related to fire protection example. Although the laboratories represent systems without which any smart and modern production process cannot be imagined, they also represent an inevitable and logic consequence of Industry 4.0.

This paper presents the technical realization and evaluation of an interactive web platform for digital dialogue in teaching, based on the integration of WebSocket and REST API technologies. Digital dialogue is a concept in which a professor, during a lecture in real-time, asks students questions through a specialized web application, and students respond via their mobile devices, thus transforming the teaching process into dynamic, asymmetrical two-way communication. By introducing such a model, the platform enables the essence of the Socratic dialogue to be realized in a modern digital environment. The paper describes the architecture of the system, the technologies used, as well as the experimental environment in which the application was tested. Using SQL analysis and objective technical metrics (latency, response speed, transmission success), the results of system performance in real teaching conditions are presented.

The implementation of "smart city" projects can undoubtedly benefit from a reliable information system to monitor autonomous electric car charging stations. Developing such a system is indeed a complex process that requires careful planning and consideration of various operating scenarios. It's crucial to ensure that all aspects of the system are well-designed and implemented to meet the needs of the users and the community. In this paper, one such scenario through the User Requirements Notation (URN) as a modeling language used to model and analyze requirements is developed. The centrepiece of this system is jUCM-Nav, an open modelling, analysis, and transformation tool for URN that operates on the Eclipse platform. Stored information on autonomous electric car charging stations includes the maximum energy capacity, current energy state, unit energy price, distribution cost, and identifier. The car database stores the owner's name and surname, the current energy state and capacity, and the account balance. The information system should simulate charging and record the receipts generated after charging.

Although mobile phones are part of today's society, without which one cannot imagine a day, the initiative of schools without mobile phones is joined by an increasing number of educational institutions in the Republic of Serbia. With the introduction of this initiative, as well as with the adoption of new regulations, mobile phones are being kept away from the youngest, at least in school classrooms. The effects are already measurable. The paper you are reading is the result of research that is still being carried out in several schools in Serbia, and it presents the results obtained by analyzing the questionnaires that were filled out by all actors of the teaching process. The positive aspects that are reflected in the better socialization of students, socializing and the development of emotions and empathy are emphasized, but also some negative ones that primarily lead to inevitable changes in the teaching process.

Each city represents a unique system where different actors, citizens, administration, and utility companies undertake numerous activities, creating complex interactions and interdependencies. Previous initiatives aimed at creating a platform for a smart sustainable city have proven that there is no one-size-fitsall approach to making a city "smarter" and sustainable. It is critical to develop a methodology that will assist in determining the best route to the end objective, a sustainable and smart city, by thoroughly grasping the unique ecological and social city surroundings, priority activities, history, and distinctive traits. Our research attempts to formulate a plan for the smart city scheme in Serbia. Additionally, we aim to model and optimize the proposed concept based on a systematic evaluation of the various dimensions and corresponding indicators that govern the smart city framework. The paper relies on a ranking system for these dimensions and indicators. The applied methodology is a mathematical method that uses a phased approach to the analytical hierarchical process, FAHP, which hierarchically classifies the whole system through various criteria and sub-criteria with expert opinions.

Evacuation generally presents a very complex and responsible task, no matter what kind of object or location is in a plan for the evacuation. Reasons for evacuation are mostly well known. These are earthquakes, fire, overflow, tsunamis, terrorist attacks, and others. A major significant factor for evacuation is a lot of humans, particularly immobile, hard-mobile persons and children. This fact can significantly make evacuation difficult, complicated and even hard possible or impossible. The simulation software application presents many benefits because of prediction, calculation of evacuation times and determining evacuation routes. In this paper, the evacuation time of each evacuation exit was calculated by the simulation software Pathfinder (version 2023). The results of this paper were done by an appropriate simulation model at the elementary school Car Konstantin from Niš with all potential exit doors. Simulations predicted two scenarios with occupants’ speeds: 1m/s, 1.5 m/s, 2m/s, 2.5 m/s, 3m/s and 3.5 m/s. The contribution of these results is applicable because the calculation of evacuation times for every combination of potential exits facilitates potential evacuation situations. Evacuation problems can be much better and effectively analyzed with the software. Particular benefits from the simulation software used are in the sense of safety, cheapness and prediction.
