This paper discusses the problem of optimal placement and sizing of passive harmonic filters to mitigate harmonics in unbalanced distribution systems. The problem is formulated as a nonlinear multiobjective optimisation problem and solved using the multiobjective genetic algorithm. The performance of the proposed algorithm is tested on unbalanced IEEE 13- and 37-bus three-phase systems. The optimal solutions are obtained based on the following objective functions: 1) minimisation of total harmonic distortion in voltage, 2) minimisation of costs of filters, 3) minimisation of voltage unbalances, and 4) a simultaneous minimisation of total harmonic distortion in voltage, costs of filters, and voltage unbalances. Finally, an analysis of the influence of uncertainties of load powers and changes in system frequency and filter parameters on filter efficiency was performed.

The application of the SCRUM procedure in hardware projects is of great importance because the material costs and the high risk of irreversible costs caused by changes negatively affect the business of IT companies that produce hardware. After the implementation of the pilot project in the software company, the introduction of agile methods was started in medium-sized companies that produce electronic equipment. General improvements and current problems that occur in the first stages of the implementation of agile method and scrum framework in a medium-sized IT company are presented in this paper. In order to see the workload of the team, Velocity Chart of the amount of work done after each sprint was used. The team's work is shown on the Sprint Burndown Chart.

One of the most important issues in large-scale agile development is achieving efficient team planning and coordination. Combining the overview and predictability of long-term planning on a team level with the flexibility and adaptability of agile development is the promise of hybrid approaches to traditional and agile development. Agile techniques have been promoted to reduce project risks, increase output and improve product quality. The research idea presented in this paper relates to scrum methods, further demonstrating how to focus on decision-making or information sharing while adapting agile approaches to large projects and software product development programs in medium-sized enterprises. By using certain modifications, this approach can also be applied to large multinational companies.

The skin effect will be considered on the basis of solving both the wave and integral equations of the skin effect in which the magnitudes of the current density within the conductor are unknown. Both equations are derived under the assumption that the conduction current prevails over the dielectric displacement current in the conductor and that the effect of propagation along the conductor is negligible, so that it is a plane-parallel quasi-stationary field. The obtained approximate numerical results were compared with the exact analytical ones and with results obtained by FEM and very good agreement was found. A massive tube filled with a nonlinear material in the magnetic sense, whose hysteresis loop is approximated by an ellipse, is considered in this paper.

At large distances from the end of the strip lines, the distribution of electricity along its conductors is uniform. At the places where the strip line ends or the shape of the geometry changes, in addition to that component, the values that present additionally placed equivalent electrodes are added. If the interior of the strip line is filled with a multilayer dielectric, in the calculation of the distribution of the electric potential and the electric field, in addition to equivalent electrodes, equivalent charges are used. The results obtained by using the Equivalent Electrodes Method and Hybrid Boundary Element Method were compared with the values calculated using FEM.
