This paper provides an overview of microgrid control strategies, examining differences between centralized and decentralized approaches, and focusing on classical hierarchical control schemes as well as the structure of three-layer microgrid control systems. It also explores Hardware-in-the-Loop modeling, a crucial approach for microgrid simulation, with particular emphasis on devices supporting microgrid modeling. The paper primarily focuses on the design and implementation requirements of an experimental setup for real-time testing of microgrid control algorithms. The setup incorporates Hardware-in-the-Loop device, a power amplifier, a power converter, a battery energy storage system, and a digital controller. It is specifically designed to handle both power and information (control) signals, facilitating a comprehensive approach to evaluating and validating microgrid control strategies in real-world conditions. A detailed analysis of the setup elements and their interactions is also provided.

Energy Management System of Smart Grid is capable to generate a Big Data. This paper considers sources of Big Data in electric utilities, underlining analytics and processing tools. The volume of Big Data and utility-related application barriers are analyzed. Hadoop and Berkeley Data Analytics Stack are identified as open source Big Data processing tools worth considering for Energy Management System applications. The conceptual Big Data range of Europe-level Energy Management System is revealed. Big Data is divided into three levels according to its range in power systems. The case study of Finland’s transmission system operator Fingrid is identified as a good example of state-level data managing authority.

We analyse the unbiased WalkerMaker–WalkerBreaker game, a variant of the well-known Maker–Breaker positional game where both players Maker and Breaker are constrained to choose their edges according to a walk. Here, we consider two standard graph games - the Connectivity game and the Hamilton Cycle game played on the edge set of the complete graph, Kn, on n vertices, and show how fast WalkerMaker can build desired spanning structures in these games.

Teorija grafova ima široku primenu u oblasti elektrotehnike, a ključni razlog je pogodnost modelovanja elektrotehničkih elemenata i procesa usmerenim grafovima. Cilj ovog preglednog članka je da se kroz odabrane primere ukaže na opšti značaj teorije grafova u različitim oblastima elektrotehnike. U članku su analizirani odabrani primeri iz oblasti analize električnih kola, elektroenergetike i teorije automatskog upravljanja. Kroz odabrane primere dat je koristan pregled primene teorije grafova u različitim oblastima elektrotehnike.
