The definition of a green economy is that it is an economy that aims to reduce risks to the environment and ecological resources, as well as to achieve sustainable development without destroying (polluting) the environment. Quality control, measurement and testing of products and services plays a key role in green economy. This paper explores the connection between metrology, quality and green economy principles.
