Entrepreneurship along with leadership can be understood as the process of influencing others in order to achieve organizational goals. Leadership is not only the aim of modern organizations, but it is also the means by which they achieve greater productivity and efficiency. There is a close mutual relationship between entrepreneurship and leadership because leadership appears as an essential component of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs must be able to set organizational goals, lead and motivate their employees, inspire them to perform tasks effectively and make difficult decisions, all of which logically require the possession of leadership epithets. One explanation for why employees accept the influence of a leader is that he/her possesses power. In addition to power, leadership encompasses a range of other instruments related to exerting influence such as motivation, communication, and ability to work in a team, maintaining interpersonal relationships, corporate culture, knowledge generation, emotional intelligence, conflict management etc. Many organizations have found that if they can best ensure that employees as individuals are productive, they must pay attention to the way of managing work groups and teams. This paper offers an overview of the economic dimension of sport as an integral component of the contemporary system for managing sports organizations, focusing on key features of the labor market, financial flows, and institutional processes in the sports sector. The study is based on a descriptive and theoretical analysis of selected aspects of the sports economy, with an interpretative explanation of the observed phenomena. The theoretical framework is based on modern models of sports economics that explain the specific nature of the sports product, the competitive structure of leagues, and the characteristics of the sports labor market. The empirical section of the study uses Eurostat data on employment in sport, including distribution by gender, age, and educational level, in order to identify key demographic and socioeconomic patterns within the workforce. The analysis also covers the economic impacts of sporting events, investments in infrastructure, and the role of public policy in financing sports activities, with the aim of assessing broader economic implications. The results indicate the existence of structural challenges affecting the sustainability of sports organizations, including pronounced financial disparities, job volatility, and limited institutional capacity. The identified issues highlight the need to redefine managerial strategies, particularly regarding revenue diversification, optimization of business models, and strengthening of institutional support mechanisms.

The concept of a smart city is a technologically modern urban area focused on its citizens, in which contemporary technologies, electronics and sensors are applied with the aim of collecting specific data and using them for assets and resource management, as well as improving the efficiency of local services and reducing energy, operating and other costs. The goal of this article is to determine the relevance and importance of the most common smart innovations and intelligent communications related to the modern concept of a smart city, by applying the desk research method. The authors conclude that smart cities represent our imminent future, especially in light of climate change, the threat of new pandemics and natural disasters, and the need for sustainable development.

Životni ciklus i životni vek proizvoda ne treba mešati. Životni ciklus prati proizvod od prvog trenutka kada se pojavi na tržištu, pa sve do momenta kada se donese odluka o povlačenju istog iz prodaje. U tom smislu govori se o fazama životnog ciklusa proizvoda, kroz koje prolazi svaki proizvod koji neko preduzeće predstavi na tržištu. Životni ciklus može biti kratak, ali može potrajati i decenijama. Izučavanje proizvoda i tražnje za proizvodom realizuje se konceptom životnog ciklusa proizvoda, što predstavlja osnovu za unapređivanje proizvoda, uvođenje novih i njihovo stalno prilagođavanje zahtevima posebno u oblasti sportske opreme.

Skoro dva veka dug tok i razvoj modernog sporta susretao se sa nizom izazova i promena koje su prouzrokovale značajne promene u sportskom menadžmentu na globalnom nivou. Promene u sportskoj industriji utiču na sportiste, vlasnike timova, navijače i društvo u celini. U razvijenim tržišnim ekonomijama, sve veći broj ljudi profesionalno je uključen u oblast sporta, ne samo kao sportisti, već i u upravljanju procesima, aktivnostima, događajima, ljudskim resursima i proizvodima povezanim sa sportom. Razvoj tehnologije ima konstantan uticaj na razvoj sporta, od trenažne tehnologije do informacionih tehnologija u treningu, takmičenju i komunikaciji sa navijačima.

Danas preduzetništvo i liderstvo postaju ključni faktori uspešnosti svake organizacije. U takvoj ulozi liderstvo ima dvostruki cilj: s jedne strane motiviše i usmerava pojedince, a sa druge strane rast i razvoj organizacije usklađuje sa vizijom ostvarivanja najpovoljnijeg položaja na globalnom tržištu. Lideri imaju značajnu ulogu u rešavanju konfliktnih situacija, a pravilan izbor strategija utiče na kvalitet rešenja. Cilj rada je razmatranje uloge liderstva u usmeravanju organizacije prema uspešnom rastu putem primene korektivnih akcija i rešavanja konfliktnih situacija.
